    SuperTuck Deluxe Combat Cut

I understand the purpose but was just wondering how some people feel about it from both sides of the discussion.

Any here have Combat Cut and love it/hate it?
Anyone without it happy they did/wish they did get it?

Bought my CBST without the combat cut. Did one class blistered my thumb and trimed it. Going to get another for working outdoors that will not be trimed.

I've been carrying a GLOCK 19 in a CBST with combat cut for almost 2 years so far and LOVE it! The cut helps to get a better grip on the pistol in the event of drawing. I use mine when I compete in defensive pistol matches. I also wear an undershirt between the holster and my body.

I own several CBST. Some I have trimmed myself, one I had them do it. It doesn't take much to do it yourself, but theirs looks better. Any new ones I buy I will let them do it.

I much prefer the. Combat cut to the standar. It is much easief to get a proper grip.

All of mine have the combat cut, even "enlarged" it on one. Must have, doesn't made it any less comfortable, merely enhances the grip.

I didn't get it and I am able to draw fine. I also wear a tee shirt as an undergarment so even without the cut I am comfortable. I figure more leather between me and the gun the better. If it is of interest I carry either a G29, G30, or a full size 1911

    YMMV

I chose NOT to get the combat cut.
Depending on where you wear your holster (what position) you might have the hand grip of your firearm rub on your side/back. I can draw just fine without the cut. You can always cut it later if you think you need to.
I carry a SA XDm 3.8 9mm in my CB Supertuck Horsehide. The best, most comfortable IWB holster you can get!

Got mine with the combat cut, but there was still too much leather for a positive grip. Had to trim it quite a bit. Also, their cut didn't leave enough backing to cover the beavertail.

Shoulda just saved my $7.50 and done it myself to begin with. I would have left it taller for comfort, but made it narrower for grip.
