    Galco Kingtuk

I just bought a Galco Kingtuk today for my glock 22 that im going to attempt to carry. First impressions are wow, this is really nice, I love the leather. Gun retention is very good, not too hard to take it out, not too loose, quite nice. This is my first IWB holster and im totally sure how well carrying a fullsize glock will work but lets hope it does, but if not i can always get a g23 or g27. Just thought I'd let everyone know, haha. Thanks guys

First off, welcome to Defensive Carry! You bring questions and we'll give answers...or ask more questions, we can be a strange bunch.

That aside, you'll love any of the half-leather, half-kydex clones out there, but the one suggestion that I would make is a get a true and dedicated gunbelt to support the weight of a large gun! The belt is equally important, if not more important than the holster!

    Welcome!

I think you've made a good choice. I looked into the same holster but it didn't fit a Glock 30 at the time (in fact, no .45 models). I think it's a much nicer quality than the bare, plain piece of leather with a Kydex form riveted on that is the CBST and like. I like the finished inside.

I think it looks a bit higher quality than the CBST at a competitive price.
