If you can discharge a gun while it's in the holster, then the holster is a terrible holster. Period.

If you discharge a gun while holstering or re-holstering, it's a result of negligence.

Does anybody remember the fanny pack holster that was bullet resistant and unfolded into a vest? You pulled a nylon loop over your head to hold the panel, and the front protected the groin. I wonder why that didn't catch on???

That is AWESOME! As in funny as hell. Though It might not be such a bad idea for certain situations.

The range safety bag is a good idea. If you have a possible "cooker" in the pipe, you can put the weapon in the bag until it cools and unload it later. THAT'S a good idea.

    The holsters though...

I can only think of one scenario where this could ever be useful.... Suppose I was out and somebody tried to shoot and kill my GUN. The bullet resistant holster saves my guns life, although the gun probably suffers the same type of blunt trauma injuries seen in humans saved by wearing bullet resistant vests.

Correction: If you can pull the trigger while the gun is in the holster then its a terrible holster.

My gun can't go off in the holster. I'm not worried about it being bullet resistant.

Probably the fanny pack part that did it in. Besides, in the time it takes to unfold and don, I could be far away.

Methinks the OP is the company.

The guy posting has one post here, this one. This post has about 200 views, and the youtube video has about 250 views. Subtracting out traffic from here, that means about 50 views before it was linked to from here. Not exactly a popular video. So yeah, the poster is the company. Don't spam here. We have a for sale forum, where you can compete with all the other holster manufacturers. Might even buy an advertisement on the site.

Also, I don't want anything to do with anybody that deliberately discharges a gun in his pocket, especially as a huckster trick to sell a product. That's not how responsible gun owners behave, and I'd be embarrassed to have any connection to it. Good luck with your product.

If you are discharging your weapon in the holster, maybe you need to spend money on training instead of a bullet resistant holster.
