My new Beltman arrived yesterday evening. Wow, that is a serious piece of leather! I haven't carried with it yet, but I have no doubt that it will be up to the task.

Welcome to the Beltman club, buddy. Which one did you get?
My third Beltman should be arriving any day now.

Glad you like it. Enjoy!

Congrats on the ''BeltMan'' got mine a couple weeks back and your right it's a serious piece of leather, Jim does nice work.
I have the velcro one with the second piece and the plastic stiffener. Has been my daily belt for several years. I like it.

I got mine a few days ago, a "quick ship" belt. And yup, it shipped quickly!
I've only worn it once, but yea, you're right. Definitely a serious belt.
I also have the standard Bull hide belt and after using it for a few months found it too thick and heavy for me. Ordered a Wilderness Tactical nylon instructors belt and it is a world of difference. Stiff without being thick. Lightweight, especially if you get the Travelers model with plastic buckles (got one of those also as I loved the instructor belt so much) and is infinitely adjustable so I can get is just right. Supports all my carry guns just fine and holds them close to my body with no sag and is even less expensive by a little bit. It is one of the highly recommended belts if you Google it.
Not taking anything away from the Beltman's belts as they are extremely well made and will probably last me a lifetime but I found them heavy and all my accessories that I clip to my belt would not clip on fully due to its thickness. My phone and other clipped items would fall off my belt when I moved around. Not good to drop your iPhone a few times each month. I tried several belt clip phone holsters and had the same problem. Also found that with certain OWB holsters, the belt was too thick to fit well in the slots for the belt. Just prefer the Instructor's belt as it is much thiner and I can adjust it exactly to the tightness I want which is something you cannot do with a belt with holes in it.
