    For heavy guns like the 1911 I prefer wide offset loops to spread out the weapon's weight. Brommeland's MaxCon V is a personal favorite of mine. Tony Kanaley's (Milt Sparks) VMII is another highly popular design offering a reinforced mouth and the option of being tuckable if you order the kydex clips with it. the HBE COM III is similar and Nate at UBG offers his own twist on the concept. Several other of our resident makers here offer their own versions of the offset loop design so it's just a matter of finding one you like and feel comfortable with. Good luck searching.

    I use a Secret City Weaponeers Isotope 7(MaxCon V) for a full size 1911.
