I've been eyeballing the Raven Concealment Phantom and Garrett Industries Silent Thunder for Kydex OWBs, I'm currently using an Alessi PSS and have previously used a Galco Avenger. I currently have a Milt Sparks 55BN on order that will be my new rig once it's done in September.

I favor slotted belt holsters with little to no cant, they just work better for me. There's a ton of different options out there, lots of people like Comp-Tac, Blade-Tech, and Blackhawk. Stay away from Fobus.

Blade-Tech for kydex; UBG Regulator from Nate for leather. If you are looking for the holster to be on the competitive side, I would go kydex; it's just a faster draw than leather while still retaining enough retention to be useful. I also like the Blackhawk CQC (non-SERPA) for IDPA; I run all my SIGs in one of those.

Look at the Garrett Silent Thunder Champion. It's Kydex outer shell will give you the speed and retention value of an all Kydex holster, while its smooth out leather interior makes for a very smooth presentation and forestalls the finish wear normally associated with Kydex only holsters.
