great kydex holster for my Rohrbaugh R9s (from PJ Holsters)

i just received a new PJ Holster for my Rohrbaugh R9s Stealth.

what a peach! its so lightweight and clean and simple. very minimalist.

having owned dozens of Kydex holsters i can say its the nicest IWB i've ever seen.

here's his website: PJ Holster - Simple, Practical, Affordable Holsters

this one was made to my preferences: "Rohrbaugh R9s, Behind-the-belt-J-Hook, right-hand, FBI-cant, 1.75" belt, with grip tape inside the belt hook".

and he also makes holsters for lots of other handguns.

[fyi - i have nothing to do with this maker, i'm just sharing my thoughts]

here's a couple of photos i took of it:

if you don't carry it, then what's the point?

How does your Rohrbaugh shoot? I've been lusting for one for several years now.

hey gungeezer! do you still have that 296 you wanted to get rid of? if so, i'd love to trade you out of it. email me: wileycoyote4u (at) gmail.com

re the R9s - i've only had a chance to fire a couple dozen rounds.

it's nice. with the loads i was using (115gr REM-UMC) it shot a few inches high, but perfect horizontally.

seems to group just fine. at 50' i was getting fist-size groups offhand without trying.

it doesn't sting like a seecamp 32. it mostly just bucks around in the hand.

it didn't knock my knuckle, but did sit back into the web of my hand enough to notice it.

i was expecting recoil to hurt a bit, like it does with an airweight snubbie loaded with +P rounds, but its not as bad as that.

very do-able. its a keeper. i should have picked one up years ago.

if you want to learn about them, spend some time over at Rohrbaugh Forum and get a feel for them.

THANKS, coyote. Glad the charts were helpful.

I regret parting with my Farmingdale R9. Enjoy your R9.
