Belt Finishing Poll
There are basically two ways that are industry standard for finishing a double thickness gun belt.
One is to leave the underside natural unfinshed leather, maybe just lightly oiled and buffed, regardless of the belt color.
The second is to dye the entire belt the same color throughout.
So my poll qustion is - what do you guys prefer?
Natural liner
or
All one color
The process is different depending on what method is used, and having done it both ways I really see no difference in function, stiffness, long-term durability, etc.
Purely a matter of asthetics and just curious what you guys prefer.
My computer illiterate self has no idea how to set this up as an actual voting poll; so if one of our fine moderators can jump in and modify this please feel free.

Sorry Mark , I can't help with the poll setup but my vote is for the natural liner.
The power of the future is in its ability to inspire the present.

As long as the dye is permanent and won't bleed onto lighter colored clothing then I see no difference in one being any better or worse than the other.
Just my personal opinion on that.
Who cares what the unseen side of a belt looks like?
Not me.
I would go with whatever finishing method allowed you to to get more belts made with less hassle.
Life is complicated enough without fretting over the flip side of a leather belt.

I prefer all one color. But it would not be a deal breaker.

All one color for me. They look way better IMO!
I have a Mitch Rosen black (all one color) belt and it looks great that way. I would not have a natural liner belt if having a choice.

I voted natural liner, but in all truth, it is only a slight personal preference. I would not base a belt selection on this feature unless all else were equal.

Agreed.
I have one of each(from two different makers).
One is died the color of the belt on the inside, the other is not. They are both excellent belts, which is all I care about.
