    Kramer MSP arrived today

It sure is fun to get home and find a box on the doorstep that says Kramer Leather on it. Had ordered this in April when I bought my SIG 229. Pretty tight fit out of the box (will rack the slide when you put it in) but it is supposed to be that tight when new. It will be a nice carry rig. Spendy, and a two month wait, but certainly worth it. I can FINALLY carry the darn thing.

Congrats! Enjoy. If it's too tight, wrap gun in wax paper and place in holster for a couple hours, remove wax paper and fit should be about right.

Nice holster, I carry my P226 in a Kramer vertical scabbard.

That is a seriously fine piece of leather, but I'm daunted by the size of the paddle. Some pics and a user report after it's broken in would be great to see!

OK, unbelievers. I am sorry for poor quality, but these were taken with phone and sent to e-mail. Anyway, here your go:

I just bought a couple of their IWB holsters and the quality is top notch. The paddle looks huge but it also must be effective.

Well, I took it out yesterday. Had to wrap in it in a couple of baggies for a few days to get it loose enough to draw well. I was a bit worried about printing, especially the butt. But I was wrong. The Kramer pulled the gun in tighter than I had hoped it would. I asked my wife several times if she could see anything that said gun, but she said no. Not only that, but the darn thing never moved at all. I do think that a guy needs a top quality belt when wearing a rig like this (I use AG Gunleather belts), but a 229 is not a small gun, and the Kramer MSP is not a small holster. Using a good belt (and a Woolrich Elite vest), the gun stayed put and was not visible. An excellent rig.

Nice!!! That's one brand of holster I don't own, but the workmanship appears excellent.
