I haven't done anything to my Kholster, no polish, mink oil, nothing. I've had it for over a month now. Sorry I can't answer about leaving it in the heat though. Usually if I can't carry someplace,(post office or church something) I leave the holster on my belt and just leave the pistol locked in my truck.
Do keep checking the screws on the belt clips, mine have worked loose twice.

Wow, that's a bunch of leather. I have a Cross Breed, but it's combat cut. How is the draw without it?

it seems to draw smooth and the re holster is very easy and it is very comfortable. it holds the gun very securely but when you pull on it it slides right out

Combat cut definitely will draw easier than the one pictured above. I Have a standard CBST and I have a Theis Combat Cut and they are both comfortable with the combat cut having an edge on a faster more resolute draw. I personally feel there is a very slight difference in the overall feel of the holsters themselves as far as how they carry the weapon.

I have heard stories of Kydex loosing shape when left in the heat and no weapon was in the holster but I can not confirm from personal experience. Like Stubborn posted I will leave my EDC in my Nano an keep the holster on for the few places I visit where weapons are not allowed.

I've been carrying in a c-tac for 4-5 years now (the same one) never had any problem gun in or out. My lady did break a clip once taking the holster out of my pants, but other than that the kydex has held up amazingly, the leather straps look beat up but still are working, screws and rubber washers are all still original and fabulous. Bit of rust on the screw parts but who cares. Best holster I can imagine.

Wow, it looks huge. I can't imagine if the clips were installed in the lowest two holes

I think I'd like a little less holster but if it fits you good and is comfortable, that's all that counts!
