Another really nice Tommy Theis holster

I ordered the holster late on 15 July and it was in my mailbox on the 22nd.

Horsehide; perfect fit and retention level; $60.00 delivered.

Tommy's holsters impress the hell out of me.

Great product, great price and you don't have to wait weeks.

Look a lot like the Crossbreed holster. Are they very similar??
Chicken Little? Who the heck is Chicken Little? And what does she know, anyway?!

I don't want to put down the Crossbreed product so please take the following with a grain of salt.

I believe the basic concept is very similar. I own 3 Of the Tommy Theis holsters and I've only held one Crossbreed in my hands and never worn one. To me, the Theis looks and feels more "finished" than the one Crossbreed I examined. That being said, the Crossbreed has a very large following and seems to serve admirably. The proximate causes for my selection of the Tommy Theis product was cost and delivery time.

I'm pleased with my purchase and with my interaction with this vendor.

    Regards,

    Jim

Looks good. How do you like the BG38? I bought one so I could make holsters for it. And you can't have too many guns. Mine shoots about 4 inches high.

Actually I'm very pleased with it. It surprises me that it can be pretty darn accurate at 7-10 yards. I originally bought it for my wife (at her request) but she doesn't like it. I find myself carrying it quite often and shoot it weekly just to stay current.

Sounds good. I should have said shoots high with iron sights. I can shoot one hole groups with he laser. My wife has a K frame 38 that she got from her Dad. But I am trying to get her to check out the BG38. I really like the BG38 too.

I have a Crimson Trace laser on my PT709. At 10 yards or so the Crimson Trace laser seems to project a smaller and much brighter dot than the Insight laser on the BG38. How's yours look?
