˄˄ Except I am very well known to not own a cell phone and everyone knows that. I know, I know -- I want to see if I'm the very last person in the country to get one. (one more way they can track you! JK. Well, at least the kids could track me then. Plus some of our gas stations still have pay phones, if I need it.)
Hmmmm... In that case, I'd suggest sticking with off body, or go with an ankle rig if possible. The thigh rig idea is good in theory, but your thigh tends to change shape as you sit or stand in different positions, and it can cut off circulation pretty easily.
Also, look into a cellphone. I have a cheap net10 prepaid that cost me $20 a month, and is WAY more durable than all those fancy new phones out now. Heck, it's been washed a couple times and even took a few dips in Fort Peck lake last weekend. Still runs like a champ.
Trust me, when you need it, you REALLY need it. I made the mistake of letting mine run out of airtime once, figuring I'd reactivate it when I got a chance. I wound up nursing my truck 40 miles with a tank full of bad gas. Took me 6 hours and some real ingenuity to get home. Turns out there's no payphones in the cornfields out here.

My customer's are hug-o-matics. I carry AIWB and have never had a problem. I carry at 1:00 and put my right leg, slighty bent, forward and hug them with my right hip to the front. I bend into the hug and they get no where near my gun. They end up with their hands on my left hip and by bending into the hug, my leg and chest "protect" my gun.

Your purse may be the best option while in church until after your outta the 'hug-zone'.

My church is full of those pesky, love spreading Christians also(and I love them ALL) I just trade out my IWB for my pocket holster on Sunday mornings. My family attends a small country church here in Mid TN and I don't think it would be a big deal to get made by most of my church family. I have breakfast most weekday mornings at the local country store with a few of em and they all know I carry.

Excellent Video on Carry Options for Women
I would say if you are wearing long slacks, ankle carry could be a good option. If you are wearing a skirt or dress, the thigh holster is also a good option.
Below is an excellent YouTube video by a woman (faliaphotography), who discusses carrying options for women.
A particular favorite option of hers is the thigh holster which she demonstrates (at the start of the 3rd minute) with a variety of skirts and dresses.
Be sure to check out her YouTube channel for several other practical gun videos from a woman's perspective.

Very informative video. I would have liked to see her do something with the PT-1 (Pistol Wear - Holsters for Concealed Handguns), which is what I'm considering for my wife.

Thigh carry is not all that bad. I am a bigger lady and I have carried this way without any probs. Also drawing from this position is easy.

Anyone Ill be hugging wont mind if im carrying, and will probally be thankfull for it. Also, at least in Texas, and possibly in your state it is illegal to carry in a church unless you have permission from the pastor or head of the church. Doesnt need to be posted.
