My new SHTF gear ACE-1 IWB holster

Been carrying in my ACE-1 for about a week now and it's a vast improvement over my old uncle mikes. Carried all day at a theme park this past weekend and it remained pretty comfortable throughout. Weapon retention is great as I experienced no movement at all. To top it all off its made in the good ol USA and comes with a lifetime warranty as well as free replacement belt clips for life. It's trademark is the kevlar stitching that's used to anchor the kydex to the leather backing. At 69.99 I don't think you can go wrong getting a custom made piece with a lifetime warranty. Anyone who plans to ccf should take a look.

    live free or die trying.

Nice, from a stability and comfort stand point you really can't go wrong when there are two belt attachment points.

I have two of this style of holster for carring concealed and they are both awesome. I will be purchasing more as the arsenal continues to expand. I do reccomend upgrading to horse hide over some companies standard cow hide.

Tommy Theis & Crossbreed both have excellent holsters

I suppose that depends on your definition of SHTF, In my mind its far more likely that we'll encounter a situation that requires the use of a firearm to protect yourself and your family rather than a total collapse of society. Really SHTF happens for people all over America every day and that's what we need to be prepared for.

Crossbreed sure started a trend. Ugly but functional holsters.

Tucker actually started the hybrid design(from everything I can find), however I would agree that Crossbreed was probably more popular over the last few years.

I believe you are correct, I know that tucker gun leather was posting on a forum looking to name their first hybrid holster back in 2002, I believe that beat Crossbreed by a few years. I also agree that Crossbreed is probably what really made hybrid holsters mainstream.

Now, having been over a year, how is the holster holding up? Any issues?

You can also check facebook, SHTF Gear LLC, or Amazon.com to see reviews from other users.
