    Nice looking work Rocky,

Looks like you have really gotten that Kydex stuff figured out.

Is this the begining of a new "Custom Holster Maker" here in CC?

I may put a few up on ebay for sale. Once I get my buddies all set up with what they want. If anyone is intested here, I would consider making up something.

How do you account for the sight channel?

I thought I would need to put a block along the sight line to keep the kydex from molding in too tight on the top of the slide, but so far it has not been a problem without it. Occasionally I get the holsters too tight to the gun and slightly heat em to loosen em up.

When you have the resources put me on the list for an OWB for a XD-45 Service that disappears under a business dress suit?

Thanks all, I like leather too, but wanted something thinner than traditional materials.

Rocky, if I ever decide on a kydex holster. I'll be sure to call on you, it looks as if you have pretty well got that whipped.

Good job, Rocky. Although I am a leather guy, too, I have a Kydex for use in bad weather and they really aren't too bad. I might have to try my hand at it someday but I am another that can really mess stuff like that up....

Thanks again all. I will try to get some pics and tips up of how to build em. Sounds like lots would like to give it a shot from the PM's I have been recieving.
It may be a while though, the camera is my girlfriends and I really don't know how to run it. Typically I use a heat gun to heat the kydex, then press it to shape.
I would recommend buying a knife kit to start out , as it gives ya all the material you need to make a holster.
