I don't think anyone who hasn't physically tried the rig out would be a believer; I know I had doubts. But I purchased a Zac for my .40 XD Service as a secondary method of carry and was impressed by the results. Although I don't use it as an everyday rig, the Zac is stable and works as described.Quote:

It seems good in theory, but it'd hard to tell how well it'd work without trying it. Biggest problem I see with it would be the string being to long, having to draw differently than normal. No only that, holsterless carry is just isn't secure enough. Front sight can snag on the inside of your waistband. Firearm would move around too much.
I think it conjunction with one of those clipdraw things that screw onto the slide or frame, it'd work decently well. A friend of mine SWEARS by his clipdraw. I prefer a thin Kydex holster.
