I am looking for new holsters. Ugh. What a fun adventure.
I am just curious what your everyday holster is? What holster do you go to and put on everyday because it is the most comfortable, most concealable, most bestest holster ever?
I have a cheaper version of that from another maker, and after wearing it a while it kind of "bags out" - the belt slots get closer together and the butt is no longer tucked in tightly. Is that a problem with the Safariland? I'd like to carry my Makarov in hot weather and there aren't very many holsters I like made for it.
My normal carry is a 1911 Gov't model in a C-Flex by Kelley Gunleather. He made it with a 20 degree cant instead of the standard "FBI" 15 degrees. I think the extra cant really tucks the gun better, especially under light cover garments.
My EDC holsters are made by Tommy Theis. Theisholsters.com | Home | Custom IWB Holsters I have one for my G23 and one for the CW9 and I am about to place an order for one for my XD .40 service model.
just got my iwb conceal holster from tommy for my taurus .40 feels good so far.very nice and very good quality.i will be ordering all my gun accessories from tommy.mag carriers, belts, and holsters.
My LCP rotates between a Remora, a PJ holsters IWB with the "J" clip and a Blackhawk size 1 pocket holster. It varies depending on where I am going and what I am wearing.
I've got a Crossbreed SuperTuck IWB for G23. I love it because it's comfortable and VERY easy to conceal. I'm a jeans and t-shirt kinda person, but I like my shirts tailored, not baggy. And I still get away with it not showing for most of what I wear.
The only drawback I really have with my holster is that because it's got a large junk of leather touching your back is that I can get pretty sweaty in the summertime. But I rarely wear it outside for extended periods, so that's not an issue.
Theis holster for my Cougar 9mm. Decided on that holster for the Cougar after reading many positive reviews of his holsters. Definitely a fan of it....very comfortable holster!
M. Sparks & Del Fatti usually.
Alessi occasionally.
There are many other incredibly high quality holsters by some really top makers that I would daily carry in with 100% confidence but, the ones I already have just seem to last forever. :biggrin2:
This is my all time favorite OWB holster. (below) It's an extreme forward rake custom by Matt Del Fatti.
Doggoneit...I had to swipe a PIC of my own holster out of the Del Fatti Photo Gallery.
It looks so new in this photo. <~~~:hand5:
I have been using an Uncle Mike's pocket holster for my J-Frame
