How Many Have Given Up on IWB Holsters?
Try as I might, I have gone to an OWB holster for my Walther PPS. (Crossbreed) The comfort of the IWB as well as having to "dress for the gun" and the "on and off hassles" simply were not worth the effort. I have found that at least with my PPS, it is easily concealable with minimum covering clothes, and has worked well. For those rare times when I believe an IWB is really necessary, and there are few of those, the Remorra woks best. Anyone else made the change form IWB to OWB?

No, I love appendix carry with a PM9 and minituck. Comfy as all get out.

I have IWB and OWB holsters for both my G27 and M&P40 (fullsize). I do find myself wearing OWB's about ~75% of the time due to comfort, not having enough suit pants with larger waist sizes and general on/off hassles. I've got TT Gunleather and Crossbreeds for IWB and UBG holsters (shark trim) for OWB's.

Since there is no perfect holster I’ve owned one for about every method of carry. Yes, even the anatomically incorrect ankle rig. I too prefer the holster on the outside of my hip but depending where I go and how I dress, it may not be practical. Still, I do like my Milt Sparks PMK whenever I can get away with it.

No.
I have an M&P9c, that is carried on either a Desantis Cozy partner IWB, or a non descript leather single wide clip, and a Kel Tec P11 that is carried with a factory clip that clips on the pants, which is carried SOB.
Both comfortable in jeans, dress pants, work pants Etc......

I am not a person that believes in over concealing a carry firearm & so I have always carried OWB in a high quality OWB holster that pulls the firearm in close to the body.
My daily "dress" allows me the very minor luxury of going about my daily life with an untucked shirt or Tee-Shirt.
That is just not possible for many of our members & so IWB carry is more necessary/mandatory for those folks.

Mt EDC is most often a 1911 & unless I am bird hunting I never use a OWB. My Crossbreed just conceals better than anything else I've tried.

I have been thinking of OWB this winter when I can wear a sweater to cover the firearm. However I find myself now constantly preening myself as I move around, get out of cars, etc to keep from printing/exposing the firearm and I am wearing an IWB. It just seems that IWB is a lot more concealable, but just not as comfortable. Always trade offs.

I've done both but as of now I just carry outside the waistband. A little less concealment is exchanged for a little more comfort.

Not me. IWB with the Crossbreed QwikClip & my KT PF-9 @ 4:30 nearly every waking moment. I can wear this rig with anything, & tucking when necessary is no problem.

I carry OWB 80% of the time. IWB carry is an as needed option, though.
IWB has only one advantage for me - added concealment. I am generally carrying a full sized handgun so there is quite a bit of holster to cover with a cover garment. There are certainly times when a long, un-tucked shirt would be inappropriate. That is when IWB carry shines.
As for on/off issues, I don't really see an advantage to OWB over IWB. For either, you need a modicum of privacy, but little else.

Almost exclusively AIWB.
I use light cover garments here in the warmer southern climate.
After October 1st I may just have the opening of the garments not as closed since the law will make accidental showing a concealed weapon not a violation of the law.
The fastest posistion to access my firearm and the easiest posistion to protect it for me is AIWB.
I prefer this posistion even if Florida allowed total open carry state wide.
To each their own as long as it works for you it's all good.

I am very comfortable with my Mtac G27 combination; when that does not work I go th 3AT and pocket carry.

95% of the time I use an IWB.. I mostly carry a fullsize 1911 or a S&W 686, and IWB is very comfortable for my body type I guess...tucking isn't a problem...
