    Help! Crossbreed remora debate!

Long story short, I ordered a supertuck for my g 26 last night, the bright afterwards I discovered the remora. Of course, I ordered one of those too. Should I save myself 80 bucks and cancel the supertuck order??? I like appendix carry and think the remora fits the bill, but can the supertuck do something the remora can't???

It's tuckable, spreads the weight across your belt, stays in place when pants are unbuttoned, also works for appendix carry... get both!

The CB can "tuck". That is, it was designed to be tuck-able. The Remora (or Sticky, which is my preference) can also tuck, but would probably be a little trickier to "untuck/draw" smoothly. That's about it.

Somebody in another thread said it, and it's true for me...once I got the Sticky (or Remora, whichever) the CB lies there still loved, but un-used.

Like the others have said, they're two different holsters, for two very different purposes.

Unless you're up tight for cash, I'd keep both.

Well I'm a poor fireman. Fiancé wants a deck on the new house, but im sure I could validate keeping both if I have to!

^ I'd test-drive both for a little while - and if you have to, sell one or the other at a slight loss as a used item. Both are popular, and since it's for a popular pistol, re-sale should not be too much of a problem.

Lima here (just on JD's computer and too lazy to sign out and back in).... I have both and caution you to keep both.

If you should, per chance, go to a professional gun school more than likely they will have a holster requirement that it be a BELT holster which the Remora is not.

Also, you didn't specify whether or not you got the reinforced mouth Remora but if you did not it will also be easier for you to reholster your firearm with the CBST.... especially in a class setting.

    Try em both out. :)

I'm sure they both have return policies on them. If you can afford to keep both, I say keep em. :)

I've only heard positive reviews on the CB, but I dont own one. I do have the Remora with the reinforced top and love it.

Yup. Did the same thing. For carry, I think I am going to use the Remora, but for tuckable/range work, go with the Crossbreed. (Except I have the Comp-tac.)

Keep 'em both! I love my CB and I have heard wonderful things about the remora, so since you already bought them, might as well keep them and like another poster said, you can always re-sell one for a small loss if you have to.

I never used a Remora, but didn't like the ST at all.

Keep the CBST. Nothing against Remora, but I wont use a holster that isn't attached to my belt.
