I picked up a set for $180 and another for $150 so there are good deals out there. They usually sell for $180-250.

On the CT grips which I have on my SP101 and Taurus 94 there is an on/off switch on the bottom of the grip which you can turn them off permanently. They also have the finger activated switch just under the trigger. You activate the laser on or off with just a slight movement of you middle finger. On my 642 I don’t have a permanent on/off switch only the finger activated on/off switch.
I have CT\'s on 2 of my wheel guns and I like them. I do not like the idea of depending on them. I also do not like the idea of them giving my position away with a bright red beam. In close quarters I think they are invaluable. Yes they are pricey, my cheapest pair running over $250, but what\'s cost when it comes to being the one standing after the fight. As for my 1911 I have resisted grips because it is so darn accurate. Bumper and I shot rail sighting the other day and my pattern was well within 3 inches, center of mass, at 15 feet.
