Bundle up weather and the Jframe

How many of you are breaking out the Jframe in anticipation of heavy coats? In heavy coat weather with coats buttoned/zipped up it is nice to have a Jframe in the outside coat pocket. Hard to access the belt gun under the heavy coat. Same goes for driving - hard to access belt gun and here a Jframe in console make sense. Move the Jframe to coat pocket when get out of vehicle.

Now I have to admit most winters I don't practice what I preach, but hope to this year. So what do you guys up North do to assure access to gun in cold weather?

Actually I carry my J's in a front pocket, K's go on the belt.

I agree, when belt carrying a fighting sized gun under a buttoned/zipped up heavy coat I'll often put a J frame in my left coat pocket for quicker access.

I carry mine in a shoulder holster in the winter, I keep a thin fleece vest on underneath my coat in case I want to take the jacket off and still be concealed. Very easy access while driving and extra comfortable. I don't like carrying the pocket of the jacket since I have to leave my gun "off body" if I take it off.

I've been known to have one in the pocket. Just carries right.

J-frame in coat pocket in same pocket holster as summertime. No problems so far.
