lcp/crossbreed micro tuck

This is a discussion on lcp/crossbreed micro tuck within the Defensive Carry Holsters & Carry Options forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I did a search and did not find anything about this combo. Any feedback with the LCP in a micro tuck, concerning holster movement/stability?...

no, but I do have an LCP and a micro tuck for my CM9 and think the MT would be overkill for such a small gun

LCP is my occasional carry though - in either a Galco pocket holster or a cheap blackhawk generic nylon IWB

I have a Glaco ankle holster and a Desantis pocket holster for my LCP. I use both and like them both. The ankle holster is a good idea if you're in a vehicle a lot--easy access whereas being strapped in limits access to a pocket. I agree that IWB carring for a mouse gun isn't necessary.

For my Bodyguard (small like an LCP), I got a Crossbreed microclip. It had only one clip and constantly twisted down below my waistband. Crossbreed allowed me to change it to a minituck which has 2 clips. This is extremely stable and I feel very secure and confident carrying this little gun this way. I don't know it's there anymore as far as feeling it. I need minimal in cover garments since it tucks beautifully. Sometimes I tuck it and sometimes I don't. For me, IWB works for this little .380.

I really like the idea of the LCP as an ankle BUG, in vehicle.

    - I agree. The MicroTuck is a lot of holster for something the size of the LCP. I owned a MicroTuck for my Kahr MK9 and thought it was a good size. The MiniTuck for my Kahr PM9 was a little more stable due to the additional clip. IMO, if you're going to carry the LCP IWB, then something like the Remora would be a more comfortable carry.
