Fist Kydex Holsters - Thin or Ultra Thin

I am planning on ordering one of these for my Glock 26 to have a quick and easy on/ easy off option. Being as how Glocks are already on the chunky side the ultra thin looks awfully tempting but on the flip side that ultra think looks REALLY REALLY thin and I'm worried about durability. Opinions?

I can't speak for the ultra thin line. I believe they are made only for IWB use. I have the regular Fist K1 with belt loops for OWB carry that I use for both my Glocks 17 and 19. It's as durable as any kydex holster I have owned as well as being a comfortable and close fitting holster.

Check out Sentry Gun Leather I carried a xd40 in one and it was comfortable and concealed extremely well ordering another for my pf9 best holster on the market in my opinion.

I always go with the Thin kydex. Ultra thin is a little too thin for me

I have a thin #1. I've had it for at least five years and it's still going strong. Thin enough it's the closest you will ever come to not using a holster while actually using one. I would think the ultra thin would not last as long as the thin.

Kydex serves a purpose, but it will wear out much more quickly than leather...and I find leather to be more comfortable than kydex.
The thinner the kydex, the less life you have in that holster.OMOYMV

Back on topic please. The member is asking for opinions on specific FIST holster related questions.

I daily carried a Glock 27 in an ultra-thin kydex from Fist.
Worked great, super thin, but really tough and durable.

Never a single problem, took much wear and tear..never any sign of cracks or breaking.
Very concealable IWB for the subcompact Glocks.

Rollo, I posted this on another thread, but I'll re-post it here for you.

My wife's EDC gun a Glock 26 has ridden in a FIST ultra-thin kydex K6-G (split leather loopes) holster for the past 4 years. She carries it from sun up to sun down, 7 days a week, year round.
No problems with it. A friend of ours had a FIST ultra-thin kydex holster that did crack after 2 years use.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.
