Mine....the one that I am content with and would never sell is the Laredo Defender from K & D Holsters. It does everything I want from a holster.

Used to swear by my Sam Andrews stuff. These days in leather I favor the Galco "Concealable" model. Otherwise it's a Blade Tech IWB in Kydex.

My absolute fave is Kevin's Eagle Defender - now in its 20th month of constant carry - and it is well bedded in and only change really visible is stitching has lost some of its blackness - which is no biggie at all considering.

I do also have a soft spot for my two sorta coyboy rigs I made back in 80's with much help from a leather work buddy, who made bags and luggage. They don't see much use now but - still love em.

Note, the first one which was made for M27 - has in fact got the cross draw version holster on the belt - the loose one is actually the proper strong side rig with some cant.

The second one was a sorta hunting rig for my Redhawk.

You know, I don't really like to carry IWB. I have just never found it comfortable enough to put up with it. So, I carry OWB pretty much all the time. And, for me, I like Fobus. I have a Fobus for the PT-111 and one for the XD. Both ar right hand side, paddle style and they are just comfortable to me. So, that's what I stick with.

Though I would not mind trying a Bladetech or some other makers stuff. But, for now, Fobus does fine by me.

Galco Concealable. It's so comfortable with a good belt that I barely notice it's on. Plus, I didn't have to wait ten weeks for it.

    Kramer horsehide belt scabbard

I have a Kramer horsehide belt scabbard (OWB, pancake style) that is just about perfect. It fits my H&K USP 40c, and the gun actually makes a "click" when it goes into the holster. The horsehide is stiffer than cowhide, and holds its shape very well over time.

I love my CTAC but don't have a whole lot to compare it to. I am going to get one of Gary B's leather holsters in the next few weeks.
