    Mag pouches from Jeff Hays

I have been looking for leather mag pouches that don't cost an arm and a leg. It seems that most makers charge almost as much for their mag pouches as they do their holsters. In fact, if you look at the amount of leather and the time involved, they are MORE expensive than holsters.

I looked at the offering from Jeff Hays (Hays Holsters) and decided to give him a try. Since he didn't have any forms for my particular magazines (Taurus PT140) I sent him two along with a check for payment. In less than two weeks I have them in hand and am very satisfied. They are not basket-stamped, carved or any such - just very nicely executed leather work. Here is a photo of what he made for me.

Thaks for a nice product, Jeff.

They look great, and I hear you about mag pouches! I had a heck of a time finding some for an M&P 45 (compatibility is very questionable with other models), and the pricing was ridiculous at many places. Wish I'd known about his work sooner!

While trying out my new wearing apparel last night I discovered that the mag pouches are also usable with the mags for my PT99 and my P95.

Unless I am buying a very fancy OWB BBQ rig or something for competition, I absolutely cannot justify spending $50+ for a single hole pouch for every day carry.

Jeff is super. He has made me some holsters and speed loader pouches and they are perfect. I've got some more projects after Christmas I'd like him to work on. Nice mag pouches!!! No doubt they will serve you well.
