    4 inch smith model 65

Been looking at toting the smith 4 incher since cooler weather is upon us now and wondering how some of you all carry. I was thinking of going with a shoulder holster under a jacket. I think it's a bit too big for a IWB rig.

Might look at a pancake style (unless open carry is OK). Will probably be more comfortable and more option for holsters.

I'm with wyo-man on this one. Not a big fan of shoulder holsters myself.

The 65 is a nice wheelgun, good choice. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't.

Open carry? Well in NC that is your choice.

I like the Simply Rugged sourdough pancake for S&W K Frame revolvers.

Get a quality pancake leather holster and be done with it.

I have a Model 65 in a 3'' barrel and I carry it in a Milt Sparks IWB rig. But most of the time I carry 1911 5'' in a IWB rig.

I've got a few. Better than shoving he gun in the waistband, but just barely. Quality (and fit) varies... but, what do you expect from a $20 holster? Far better options exist. Check out the various site supporters!
