G17 Holster

I've been searching the forum for a good leather holster that I can use at the range and use for concealed carry if I wanted to. Any suggestions?

The Brommeland Max-Con V has nothing about it I don't like. Gary Brommeland is making a holster for my Deltapoint/BUIS-equipped Glock 17 right now. His are the only products I use, or personally recommend. If the IWB configuration doesn't fit your needs, he also makes the OWB Def-Con. High Performance Concealment Systems for the Professional

I recently purchased a Jeff Hays Holsters Convertable holster that can be used inside the waist band or outside the waist band for my Colt Detective Special that might fit your needs.

For outside the W B I use the Serpa, the Army has adopted it with good reason. For IWB I use a Wild Bill Covert Carry.

I agree with Mike1956. Brommeland is a great choice in leather.

I was kinda thinking serpa as well, decent price and it works great, but I was leaning toward a leather one, I really don't want the serpa one to scratch my gun lol

I have 2 that I like for my G17 from Gould & Goodrich. A B800 and a B891. I don't recall the price on these but neither will break your piggy bank. I also have a Kydex holster from FIST for the G17. It's the K1 with belt loops. Easily the most comfortable Kydex holster I have used. All 3 of these holsters work very well for outside the waistband concealment.

I like the sounds of that B800, I think I'm gonna get that one, is there any break in procedures for the holster
