Need a STYLISH fanny pack/cellphone combo(?) for my wife...suggestions?
My wife recently started helping out a friend at her hair salon.
She prefers to wear tight-fitting clothing, no fluffy, ruffly top hanging over the waist that would be suitable for concealment.
She currently carries in a nice leather purse, modified for the purpose, and that's been fine until now, as the purse has always gone, where she's gone.
Now there are times when she is in the shop alone (as when opening), and she obviously can't have her purse on her at all times, and it won't do her any good if it's across the room and an "intruder" comes in the front door seeking trouble.
She carries an LC-9....
The only two options I can think of are ankle carry, and a SMALL , "stylish" fanny pack- she needs a cellphone holder anyway, and I've seen some of these combos that also tend to hide the fact that the primary purpose is to conceal a weapon. But, the ones I've seen are huge and ugly.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a fanny pack that's sized ultra-small, just large enough to carry an LC-9, with or without a cellphone pocket- that looks good as well?
If she doesn't like that idea, do any of you women ( or guys with wives) currently ankle carry, how uncomfortable is it, how reliable is it, and can you offer suggestions for this firearm?
Thanks!

Thanks for the link. Yeah, I agree Mograthi- at least the ones I've seen.
Prime example is the one in the link. Why so large, "one size fits all"... the pack measures 8-1/2". The LC-9 is 6"....why doesn't anyone make a pack for compacts? The reason they're so ugly is because they're all so BIG...why do they need side pockets, to make them even larger, and more conspicuous... Just something big enough to hold a 6" semi, that's all!

I'm not sure I'd want to carry my cellphone and pistol together in anything that could lead to an accidental mixup. Only thing worse than answering a call by pulling her LC-9 and holding it to her ear would be to draw her iPhone4 on an attacker........
"Stop right there or I'll....oh crap.... text your freakin' head off"

How about getting her a belly band? Galco makes one that is pretty comfy and durable and on body carry is better than off body carry

Leather Works - affordable leather jackets, purses, belts and accessories
They have an online store. I was in the Sisters, OR store and they had numerous small ways to carry.
The prices are in most cases a round $20-30.00
I bought a fanny pack from Sportsman Guide for $20.00. It is made of very soft leather and it is a little larger than she may
want but worth a look anyway.

Thanks for the suggestions.
This would be ideal- again, without the side pockets!
With a less tactical look, and maybe even without the belt- just a couple of velcro loops to go around her pants belt.

Just a plain, nice looking pouch...but they don't seem to exist.

Friends just don't let friends wear fanny packs. I guess that should include wives as well.
Training means learning the rules. Experience means learning the exceptions.

Check youtube for Lima's and other female CCW videos. Lots of good ideas for women who wish to carry, but still wear form fitting clothing and be stylish. OMOYMMV
