I have found the DeSantis Cozy Partner to be very comfortable IWB fot 1911s and other fullsize guns.

You might try the American Holster Co.
I don't have one, but they do look mighty nice.

If you appreciate the 'minimalist' approach, a Milt Sparks Summer Special is a classic. I've carried a full-size 1911 in one for years, and in combination with a good gun belt it handles the job comfortably without taking up half an acre of body real estate as another very popular IWB rig does. It's also quick to put on and take off. Brownell's usually has then in stock for 1911s, so you won't have to endure the lengthy wait when you order directly from Sparks.

A good belt, position, height, and cant make most IWB's comfortable. I use VMII, CTAC, Crossbreed, and MTAC. Some fine tuning of the Kydex with a file and/or heat gun, twisting the front support clip, or trimming of the leather, can make a difference, as long as retention and protection of the trigger guard is not compromised.

AKJ Concealco LLC - Concealment gun holsters, personal defense related equipment, and other gunleather.
Try one of his select grades. I have three and have tried others that cost more and less but none have had the same degree of comfort, ease of draw, retention and overall quality as his. The brown is dark and a good looking holster for IWB.

Monica Kuehn Bodhi if you can find one. I'm very impressed with one I recently acquired. According to her site, she is taking a break from making holsters full time. You might find one used or you might convince her to make you one.

Milt Sparks VersaMax 2 is the last holster you will buy for a 1911...

I agree with gasmitty, I like the Milt Sparks SSII best out of all the IWB 1911 holsters I've owned.

I have a Supertuck and an MTAC. Hands down the MTAC is better finished, is more comfortable and has the full length coverage I prefer.

if I was willing to have slightly less comfort I would go back to the CTAC, which had more crisp retention and ease of reholstering.

The reason I don't is since I have to disarm for work the MTAC is way more comfortable to wear with no pistol in it.
