Got a new rig for my LCR .357 in the mail today, a black OWB LCR holster from Haysholsters.com. After some timely email conversations I officially ordered the holster on 1/18/12 and it arrived today. Jeff suggested a speed strip pouch so I ordered one of those also.
Fit is excellent. I did the plastic bag routine and flexed the belt wings a little to break it in. Cant is perfect. Retention is excellent. It takes a deliberate pull to remove the gun and I'm getting a very natural transition to low ready. I'll let some pictures speak for themselves.
I was a little confused at first about an apparent blemish on the back of the holster. Mr. Hays explained that this is a mark left from the wooden billet that he uses in the molding process so we'll just consider this a makers mark.
Overall I'd rate this rig as excellent especially at the price point - $50 for the holster and $20 for the ammo pouch. Customer service has been excellent also.
