    New SP101 2 1/4" Needs a holster

Just picked up my SP101 .357, 2 1/4" yesterday and I'm in the market for a holster. I'd like an OWB that rides fairly high so it can be concealed under a t-shirt. Can anyone help me out with suggestions, and maybe photos? Thanks so much!

It will be hard to conceal under just a t-shirt owb. but under a sweater or jacket it is the most comfortable way to carry. I have a silver dollar holster from simply rugged. I love this holster!

Okay, that's almost exactly what I have in mind! I generally wear a tshirt with a flannel over it, so something along these lines would be perfect! Thank you!

SP101 357, nice gun....check out The American Holster Company they make a custom high rise OWB holster you might like. I have one of their Invisi-Tuck IWB holsters, excellent quality. I'm in the market for the same gun you just bought and will have another holster made for it using this company. Highly recommend them.

I'll add a recommendation for the Simply Rugged Silver Dollar for that SP101.

I have a Side Guard "The Slide" for my SP101. I can conceal it with an untucked t-shirt. They do make a High Slide that may work better for you.

Thanks everyone, all of these are exactly what I'm looking for! Are any of these available in stores so I could take a look at them before buying, or are they online only? They seem very similar in style, so it doesn't appear to be a cut-and-dry decision.

I have a Milt Sparks PMK for my Ruger SP101. It hugs it close to the body.

Wow, I REALLY like how that one fits the gun. This isn't going to be an easy decision, is it? hehehe

I know you asked for OWB, Im gonna throw this out there anyway. Brad at Bear River Holsters made me an IWB holster for my Sp101 327 and it is uber comfortable. Even with the Hogue grip on it, I can make it disappear at 3, 3:30 and 4. He also makes a double duty model that can go from IWB to OWB. I havent tried one of those yet, but I have 3 holsters from him and all of them fit their roles quite nicely.

Another beautiful option to consider. Thanks Eipo! I certainly am not against IWB carry, I'll just need to try it for a few days and see how it feels for me.

Here's what I have for my Glock-36... FIST, INC.

Note the holster with the Glock in the pic...rides high 'n tight!

He can make an OWB holster as well. Key for me is not only are his holsters fully functional, but they wont cost you your first born and it doesn't take 2 months to get one.
