Vertical Sholder Holster for N frame 44???

What would you recommend for a "old school" vertical shoulder holster for a Smith and Wesson Model 21-4 Thunder Ranch N frame 44 special? I cannot believe that there is nothing out there for us old guys? I would also like to carry my 329PD in this holster sometimes.
    Thanks for your information.

I used to carry either a Ruger Superblack or Ruger Redhawk in a Bianchi shoulder holster while hunting, very comfortable and secure especially with a 6- inch barrel.

Checkout the Bianchi X15 in size 02. It's listed as fitting the Anaconda and Python 4 inchers. It should fit your N frame 4 inch.

I used an X15 for a Commander off duty back in the late 70's early 80's

When I was a young Sp4 stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, I was actually able to make a shoulder holster for my Model 29 in the post craft shop from a pattern they had there. We were allowed to store personal firearms in the company arms room at that time. I added a thumb strap to allow an inverted carry. It turned out to be a concealable, comfortable, and very accessable set-up.

When I used to carry N-Frames and 1911's, I used the Bianchi X-15 regularly. Secure and fairly fast to draw from if you don't use the thumbsnap attachment. Had them for 4", 6-1/2", and even 8-3/8" barrelled M29's. The only thing is that you have to wear under a jacket that falls below your belt line because the holster has to be anchored to your belt on the gun side. I tried a Safariland upside down shoulder holster for a .41mag M58 but the gun fell out once when I was made a short run in the field. If you are a big guy and want to wear a shorter jacket, then maybe a Galco (Jackass Style) shoulder holster for a 4" barrel. I used that for lighter jacket wear but I'm a smaller guy and the N-Frame would imprint if my jacket was tight fitting.
