Bellyband Question
Although I use SmartCarry and a Dale Fricke Archangel for AIWB, I am also thinking of a bellyband just to have a change periodically. I have the one sold from Lenny over at Glockstore but found that it would make me sweat (I wear a tee shirt, holster, and a cover shirt) and that sweat actually got on my gun. Not happy about that. Has anyone come across a bellyband (not other types of concealable holsters) that didn't make them sweat or let moisture get on their gun? Thanks for your input.

I have one and use it most everyday.... I use a piece of leather that I made that's been slotted at each end to use as a sweat shield. Works for me, but then again, I mostly use it for comfort rather than sweat; I sit behind a desk all day and very little sweating is going on..

I inserted a kydex holster into the elastic pocket of the belly band. Secure and doesn't touch my skin.

that is what an oily rag is for, sweat is not going to hurt the gun if you wipe it down after carrying it

If you're right handed, the Galco belly band has leather pockets inside the band.

Check out the TactiPac Fusion holster web site. Great alternative to any belly Band carry holster.

Honestly, a belly band is worthless for everyday carry unless you live in a cold climate twelve months out of a year. If you cannot conceal you handgun when you first get dressed and carry it comfortably and accessible all during the day in any kind of weather or dress until you get undressed at night you have a problem. As I tell my students, "if I knew when and where I would need my gun, I wouldn't be there in the first place". If you cannot carry "full time" I would suggest you take a look at your choice of handguns or your method of carry.
