    Beltless holster option?

I have several pairs of hiking pants and shorts that have integrated belts. The belt is sewn into the top of the shorts, except for right in front where the buckle is. These pants and shorts don't have belt loops. Are there any clip-on or paddle holsters (IWB or OWB), that might work on these shorts? Something that might grab the interior belt (which is about an inch wide)? Btw, this would be for a somewhat heavy pistol: M&P 9c.

Take a look at the Fusionpac at www.tactipac.com.

Guess I am going to have to get me a Remora too, I haven't seen one negative comment on any forum yet.

The only negative of the Remora is now I have to replace the holsters for all my carry guns with the Remora. That's leaving a lot of good leather in the bin.

You and me both. And I have been at this long enough to have been buying Bianchi holsters when a guy named Bianchi actually made them.

That said, I think I have more like 3 boxes of leather holsters; all have been obsoleted by the Remoras. I'm somewhat astounded to say it, but yes, the Remora holsters work that well and are that well made.

I have a Remora and I like it. Just wondering if there might be other options...perhaps an OWB?

If you want an owb for beltless shorts, you are probably going to have to go with a paddle holster. Depending on your gun, there are some good options at:

Remora is a good choice. I've also pulled off a SmartCarry, and even a combination of SmartCarry (as an inside belt) with your choice of other holsters (SmartCarry/Kholster works decently in those situations).

Of course, a simple clip option still works, but with a heavier firearm, you'll likely get some pulling from the weight without much support (I've got some pants like that and those belts don't offer much). Makes me realize though...I've never seen a clip-on IWB that has multiple clips spread over a wider area...everything like that I've seen are all belt-supported.

any paddle or clip type holster will work, the only question is can your pants support the weight of the gun. try any of the hybrid holsters like the crossbreed supertuck if you want iwb, I wouldn't own a remora. couldn't trust it, I move around too much, also a bad idea on pants with those kind of belts, I have had issues with them coming loose, so I'd be afraid the holster would fall into my pants
