New Hybrid Carry Rig for Glock 27

I recently had a kydex holster break, and so I started doing some research and online shopping. I have never had, nor really been a fan of leather and kydex hybrid holsters....but I decided to go ahead and give one a shot. In my research, I found a guy from Orem, Utah that makes a really nice hybrid. Here is his youtube link:

Every selling point he mentions in his video that differentiates his product from the competition, was exactly what I was looking for.

The best thing so far about this holster is that I ordered it on March 22nd at about 9 pm. I received an email from Jason on the 24th saying that it was shipped. And I received the holster on Monday the 26th. I live in KC, and he is in Utah.....less than a week turnaround from ordering to delivery is just another selling point, in my opinion.

So I have only worn the holster one full day, and it is already starting to conform to my body. I am thoroughly impressed with the holster so far. The holster I purchased was the Concealment Solutions Black Mamba CE-Sub Compact with the Horsehide Upgrade, which was all of $5.

Here are some pics of mine.

Looks like the edge of the hide is beveled. That's a nice touch if it is. Is the horsehide thinner than most holster leather? Those are pretty simple to make. Finding the right horsehide is tougher. Looks good.

And the best part is that your G23, G19, G26 would all fit perfect as well since the bottom is open!

True, but then you could possibly have pretty much of the slide against your skin.

$69 for the holster, $5 for the horsehide, and I think the shipping was $11.

I've not bought one of his holsters, but Jason is a frequent contributor to the GunDudes podcast. I'm pretty sure if you listen to the podcast he mentions discount codes and specials on there frequently.

I already have a Theis holster for my G27 but I may get one of these for my M&P9c

That just seems like a lot of contraption to wear just to carry a small gun. They may work great, but I don't think there for me.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.

Spend an additional $3 at the drug store and get some mole skin for the back of the holster. Not only will it be softer against your skin but it helps keep the holster from shifting around so much.

Thats a nice looking holster but I wonder why would you want a holster so big for a small gun?? I would carry at least a G23 in that.? ...oh I see you carry two other bigger guns. One for 3 guess that is a good deal then
