    R Grizzle Leather

    Just got'em

I'm a very satisfied Grizzle Leather customer. The fit for each gun is perfect. No really perfect. Great retention and they draw easy. 2 months from order to delivery. Each week he updates the orders he's working on. Great customer service and communication. They also provide free shipping for vets. Everything you see was $300. That is a truly amazing price for custom leather of this quality.

There is nothing like the "creak" and smell of new leather...nothing. These pics really don't show the dye uniformity across everything, but it is uniform. Like most of you I have a few leather holsters I've collected over the years and I'm very pleased with these.

    Belt

SP101 holster and strip loader pouch. (Trimmed in Elephant leather)

New Agent holster and mag pouch. (Trimmed in Elephant leather)

Apologize for the picture quality, but I'm not a photographer.

Nice leather... and I agree, there's nothing like the smell of new leather. Which model holsters are those?

On his website there listed as:

The SP101 holster is The "CB (Countryboy)"

The Colt holster is The "WM (Workin Man)"

I had R Grizzle make me a pocket mag carrier for my G27 about a year and a half ago, and the turn around time was much shorter then now. His work must be getting popular.

They do great work at good prices.

The pic with the bobbed 1911 is a good example of how a short barrel isn't more concealable than a long one; I.e, a 5" would conceal as well as that 3.5". The longer barrel also resists the top-heavy nature of a 'hot' .45 (leverage against the hip) and the maker could then cut the front lower.

Ryan does good work, I've got a Southern Man for my Colt and I'm having him make one for my P7. It used to take about
three weeks now because people are finding out about him it's can be up to a ten week wait. It's well worth it though.
