Comptac Minotaur or Crossbreed IWB for my XD Subcompact 40

After my trip to Dallas this weekend and ending up in some interesting neighborhood, I've decided to find a good way to carry my XD SC40 instead of relying on my TCP all the time. I am either going to get a Comptac Minotaur or Crossbreed ST. Any advice or opinions on choosing one over the other. The only thing that I don't like about the Minotaur is that the clips on the CB are flush and the attachment points for the clips on the CT kind of stick out. Had been considering the Remora but after this weekend using it with my 642, I've changed my mind.

I have both and the Kydex work and the leather is much better on the MTAC. That said this hybrid has gotten my curiosity going:

I have a Comp-Tac and carry the same pistol.
I have no complaints about it. The leather eventually molds to your hip and retention is great.

I have a co-worker than carries a full size M&P in a crossbreed and loves his as well.

Both are quality but Comp-Tac is a Texas company too.

That Garrett one looks nice too.

I have both and like them about the same. The CB clips are a little wider apart and seams more comfortable to wear but the CT is easier to put on and take off due to the smaller plastic clips. I like my Remora for quick trips and it dose not pull down my pants but the cant seams to shift a little as my belt moves on my waist.

I'll probably stick with the Minotaur since it seems to be 6 of one a half dozen of the other. I actually have a Minotaur that I had bought for a Glock that I had but never really used it and have to get replacement clips. I think it would be cheaper and quicker to just buy the clips than to sell that one to buy the Crossbreed. I can try the CB for my Bersa 380 that I've been considering getting a holster like this for. I'm like true grit with the Remora. It's great for quick short periods but for me not all day. I have considered modifying it with some straps to get the best of both worlds.

I run Comptac clip on my Crossbreed Supertuck, prefer them to the wider clips, and no logo. Wearing it now.

I've used a Minotaur with my full size XD for 4 years and have had absolutely no reason to look anywhere else. It's comfortable, durable, and a quality product.

I tried both & prefer the Minotaur. Once I get it adjusted, I use a little blue Loc-tite on the screws.

I just got an N82. I'll never use anything else. They're as comfortable as an OWB holster.

Both would be good choices. Also check out the galco king-tuk and the n82 tactical holsters. I have the king-tuk for my m&p9c and it works great. And also shtf gear is worth a look.

Can't speak for crossbreed but I have a comp tac minotaur for my glock 23 and love it. I would definitely recommend it.
