Ok, for a quick fix, I just ordered a Wilderness Instructors belt with polymer insert. Keep the suggestions coming though because I'm going to search for a good quality leather belt also. Just want to take a little time deciding and looking for that one.

My wilderness instructor does great for daily carry. I got a Galco leather belt for fancy needs. :)

Love my wilderness instructor belt even when I'm not carrying. I have the 5 stitch. I don't need to dress up very often so it works for me.

Try Galco's reinforced instructors belt. It was only fourty something dollars. Because I was like you and couldn't afford to spend eighty plus dollars on a belt. I've had mine for nearly 2 years now and it still looks like it did the day it arrived. Plus they had it in stock and I had it in hand before the week was out.

I have the same one in black.

At first I bought a galco in brown, great belt but kinda pricey. I wanted another one in black and someone posted the amish belt.

This is an excellent belt. I wear one everyday. I also buy similar belts directly from an Amish leather shop in Berlin Ohio. Hopefully, I will lose some weight so he can add a few more holes. This is why I am hesitant to pay $90+ for a belt.

I got one from Gunner's Alley. Very satisfied

I also got one from a new guy down the road from me in Louisiana. Outstanding work. I wear it as a dress belt it looks so good. Nick is the real deal. Ferrara Leather Company

I've got a Gould and Goodrich double thick gun belt for 27 bucks and it works great....

I've been wearing the Crossbreed belt for a few years and it's held up fantastic. Bought it from Mark's blem sale for $40 shipped. It was perfect, couldn't find any flaw whatsoever. Now IIRC shipping is eight dollars.

It's hard to beat an Instructor's 5-stitch belt...they've been around a long time, and many people sing their praises.
Now leather belts are another story. Through the years, I have ordered from many of the aforementioned companies...most of them ARE pretty good.
If you want, perhaps the best I have ever seen, check out High Noon leather products. Their quality is tops, and the leather belt I received from them was the best, bar none.

I've been wearing one from a Better Belt everyday since February. It carries a gun well and is comfortable to wear. Super customer service also. I'd look to them first when buying another.
