Holster shirt
This 5.11 holster shirt Holster Shirt | Concealed Carry Undergear Shirts | 5.11 Tactical really intrigues me. I'm thinking it would be a good option for my G 36.
Does anyone have one? If so, what are your thoughts?
Thanks in advance for all who comment.

Maybe in cool weather but in states that are warm to hot all the time I think it would be uncomfortable to wear all the time. Look into belly band, kangaroo carry and other mfg's that carry off the belt. I have a belly band and I love it; I can wear shorts and a tee shirt and carry my g26 without pulling my pants down

So you tired the shirt? What, were the things that caused you to go with the Kangaroo system?

It looks like the pistols are free-ranging in that shirt which would be a concern to me. I just received a shirt from abetterholster.com, and have only used it for 2 days, and am very impressed. It has a sleeve that your gun goes into that is excellent for keeping your gun concealed and it allows 2 mags on the opposite side. I wore it around today in 81 degrees with a t-shirt (dark) over it (and I hate wearing more than a t-shirt) and it was fine. When I first got it, it took a couple hours to get used to, as it is meant to be firm on you to keep your equipment in place, but, soon after, it was fine. And walking in the hot sun, really didn't feel much different than not wearing the shirt under the t-shirt. And, I was able to wear very light shorts without any sagging or any printing showing. I am already thinking of getting another one to jog in, but I want to spend more time on this one to see if I continue to enjoy it. So far, it is excellent. Also, you could consider the smartcarry holster (there is a thread here in Defensive Carry regarding it) as it is an excellent way to deep-conceal and VERY comfortable!

I have the shirt and I have a kangaroo.
The kangaroo did not fit well and the straps were poorly placed. It required a lot of fiddling to make it work and even then I would not characterize it as comfortable. It gave me a new respect for women who wear bras all day long. My wife had to rework the holster pocket so the weapon would fit properly.
The shirt fits VERY snugly and is fairly comfortable. It has a pocket on each side that can be used for a gun(s) or magazines. It does conceal the weapons nicely under your axilla (armpit). It holds my G26, G36, G19, BG380 easily and comfortably . BUT, you really need an NRA quick draw shirt with magnet buttons to access the weapon easily. AND, everytime you draw, you will muzzle people behind you, people on your left, and your left arm/elbow. You have to perfect a draw that starts with your left arm being fully abducted and the elbo flexed with the hand upward to avoid muzzlling your self. I found reholstering to be very difficult (but that is almost never a priority). i like to wear it when we go dancing; it is not in the way and doesn't unbalance you, doesn't show when you raise your arms, etc.
You could easily try the kangaroo, it is not very expensive. If you like it fine, if not you haven't lost much. The shirt is pretty expensive and if you don't like it....

My local gun store is clearing out all 511 tactical undershirts due to poor quality of stitching and the gun holster portion failing...

I've got one in XXL and it's TIGHT. I usually wear XL but tried one of those on and could tell that I needed the next size up. Otherwise it works just fine.

I'd second this...although I never tried the shirt, the kangaroo/ultra carry has proven to be a useful option when needed (e.g., when I cannot do IWB for dress reasons).

I have one and rarely wear it. It fits very tight and in the summer it's too hot around here for me. My G26 feels like it still flops around a little due to weight. I know it is really not moving much, but it just seems too heavy for the shirt. I think with a LCP, P3AT or similar it would be fine.

Holster shirt
I bought one and it was HOT, as in very uncomfortable. If you live in a cold climate, maybe. Also if you lean forward the pistol is coming out, not good. I reworked mine to custom fit my gun, an lc9 , but it just did not ever work very well. Its in my closet next to two boxes of holsters.
Great idea, poor performance.

The 5.11 holster shirt hangs really oddly (drawn down to one side) when you put a pistol into the shirt's pocket. Everyone can readily see that you are carrying a brick (or something about that heavy) in your shirt pocket.
