Looks interesting but I wonder just how well the spring does with retention.

Well, let me be the first to welcome you, Warren!

I'm pretty new here myself, but have found this to be a great group of shooters, dedicated to carry and supporters of the Second Amendment, that's for sure!

Sorry I can't help you with any info about that shoulder holster. I did, however, just get an Aker Flatsider shoulder holster (horizontal holster) after doing a lot of research and getting a great deal of input at online forums. Good luck!

Sam's stuff is top notch. I checked out his shoulder rigs at a show a little while back. The spring in the Springbreak seems plenty strong and they are made to fit the gun the rig is built for. I, personally, liked his Monarch rig more but YMMV!

Welcome aboard Warren. Anything from Sam Andrews will be a superb product and Sam is a great stand up guy. Call him and discuss your needs and concerns with him. He will be a great help even if you end up not buying his product. www.andrewsleather.com

The Bianchi X~15 break front holsters were set up exactly the same way.
I suspect that the Andrews will be better than the old Bianchi spring BF holsters...which I did not care for at all.

    something,
You can get Aker Leather products from Galls Inc. They have a web site, anyone can order from them but they are for LE, EMS, FD etc...
Also carry Safariland, Galco, Bianchi, and many more.
