My first 1911 is a Colt Combat Commander Model 04012XSE. Being my first 1911 it was hard to choose from so many great offerings. There must be hundreds of different models and versions. I just went from shop to shop handling as many as possible. There are some great guns out there for sure. The Colt had as good a trigger as any I tested and the ergos were also right up there. Anyway here she is.

SR1911 is a beautiful piece. I had a chance to buy one, in fact I was going to look at the Colt and if I did not buy it, I was headed to a friend's house where he was holding the SR1911 for me. Congrats on your babies.Originally Posted by Mattmann

I do not plan to carry the Colt though I may pick up a OWB for range trips. Is it hard to find a holster for it or just hard to find one you like?
