Hybrid Holster, want to cover hardware

Ive recently made a kydex leather holster and want to cover the t-nuts on the back of the leather. Can I glue a thin piece of material to the leather?

Moleskin is the best it has great adhesive you can easily replace it and it's inexpensive. I cover the entire area that is against my skin on all my IWB holsters.
