    Need Holster Help

I am new to carrying a weapon but applied and should receive a CC permit for my state in about 3-4 weeks. I bought a Ruger LC9 with Lasermax laserguard and I am looking primarily for a pocket holster. I have found two inexpensive options I like and wonder if any of you have used either of these and have feedback.

The first is the Model 3 from Holster Pro for $25: http://holsterpro.com/products.php

The second is the DeSantis Pocket-Tuc ($20) which appears to be able to be used IWB or in the pocket. I am not sure yet if this one can be ordered to accommodate the laserguard.

I would appreciate any feedback on either of these two holsters. TIA!!

I have not used those. I have used Remora holsters. They are a clipless design that you can wear IWB or pocket carry. They are inexpensive and I have found them to be very comfortable. You will probably find that you like several different holsters and for different reasons.

I carry a Sig P290 and a Glock 27. Not usually at the same time, however. :-)

I got the holster pro. I use is sometimes but I carry it more in a hybred ( kydex/leather IWB) Like a Cleveland Ugly.
But if I wear a certain type jacket the pocket carry works great. I carry mine with a full mag and one in the hole so I won't consider pocket carry without a holster.

Not familiar with the two you mentioned but I do have a few of the back-pocket, wallet style and find they work well with smaller guns like the LCP in .380. I'll second the Remora, but only for IWB carry (I find it too "sticky" for pocket carry, hard to get the holster in and out of jeans pockets.)

You may wish to consider the Recluse:

I have a Holsterpro 722 OWB for my G 19. Very nice holster good quality and Paul is a GREAT fellow to do business with.

Therefore, the model would be my choice.
