Received my new Old Faithful Holster today.

Hey there all. I just wanted to tell everyone about my new holster experience. First off, I have always wanted a CrossBreed Supertuck Deluxe, but I didn't want to pay so much. I am a rather thrifty shopper and every penny matters to me. Since there are a lot of hybrid holster makers out there I decided to keep looking around. I came across a post I believe on this forum and read about Old Faithful Holsters. They have many custom options to make it your very own and they have kits. It comes with the leather cut for the holster, all the hardware, and either a sheet of flat kydex you can mold yourself or a pre-molded piece. I ordered the Stage 3 Holster Kit, pre-molded for my Glock 27. I received it today and it only took me 15 minutes to put it all together. And the biggest reason I bought from this company was the affordable price. I only paid right at $45 shipped. I highly recommend them.

Here it is with all the hardware straight out of the package.

And here it is 15 minutes later.

I wore it around as I went shopping at Lowe's and then Wal-Mart. The leather is still a little stiff, but just needs some breaking in. That aside, it is very comfortable and I have easy and rapid access to my weapon if I need it.

Here are a couple of pics of it being worn.

Thanks for posting that. I was just looking at those and wondering how easy the assembly would be. I'm thinking about getting the same kit when my Shield comes in.

It didn't come with instructions, but if you go to their website, you can watch a video that shows you how to do it. Its really easy.

I bought one from them through the GearHog add that was posted here two weeks ago. Fully assembled and 30% off. I'm very happy with it.

I forgot to add... EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE since GearHog did not forward my shipping address properly to them, and a very nice young lady emailed and called me on Sunday, to ensure that my holster shipped the following Monday AM.

Thanks for the review and the info. It's been over a week since you posted, so how is that holster working for ya? I've been researching holsters for several weeks and I think I'm about ready to pull the trigger (no pun intended) and buy one of these.

I'm surprised he sells any completed holsters considering the savings on the level 3 kit. For the hybrid IWB holsters the Old Faithful line is three times the holster that Crossbreed puts out. He really does have a better idea. Enjoy your holster.

After wearing this holster for a while now, I am glad I bought it. It is still a little stiff, but its slowly wearing in. I like it. Given that the temps are over 100 right now, I have been sticking to my Beretta Nano in my pocket. Also, if I am just going to the store real quick, I just pocket carry. The hybrid holsters are a pain in the rear to get on. Once on though, its all day comfortable.

Thanks for the update AdamSean...you've helped me make my decision. I noticed the level 3 kit is still on sale, so I better jump on that before it goes up.

I have been using one for about 3 months now. It is nice and broken in, and very comfortable. You can't go wrong with Old Faithful.
