Automobile Gun Safe Options?
There are a few times when I have to leave my gun in the car (Fed Bldgs. & etc.). Are there many options for a gun safe that could be mounted to the floorboard or secured in some other manner? I like the biometric access option but availability seems to be limited on what I can find. Has anyone else already been down this road and found a good option? I just hate the idea of putting it under the seat because that is the first place a BG is going to look. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Depending upon what you drive, Tuffy may have an option for you as well.
I am familiar with these products, and they are very well, if not over-built.

I got my vehicle safe from center-of-mass.com as well. I bought the console vault for my suburban. It was kind of pricey but really works well.

Center of Mass Safes
I bought three (two large on small) center of mass safes. They are all keyed together. I use one or two for my SUV (one for my gun and one for my other valuables) and another for my Harely saddle bags. I frequently use the one of the safe as a way to transport a gun around or, if I have to lock it up inside the house. Cant say enough about them.

Center of Mass...
is a very compact product that serves me well. A full size weapon can be locked and bolted to the floor, wire cabled to a seat post (my option), or hidden within a compartment.
In my old Mini Cooper, it fit into the rear (from the inside) tail light section. Almost impossible to find and very secure.
In our Pathfinder it's just cabled to the rear seat...you have to pull up the rear seat to find the safe...very well hidden!
Good safe...very affordable!
