P238 Apendix carry for female.
My lady carries a P238, but in her purse. I've been trying to get her to carry it on her person lately, and she likes the apendix carry. Problem is, she keeps the pistol in a remora holster in her purse, and when she tries to apendix carry, she said the gun always tilts in her jean shorts. She blames it on the pistol being heavy. I told her she needs the proper holster and it will work like magic after that.
so I looked around for some apendix holsters, but no luck...
can someone provide me with some apendix carry holsters that work well?
She carries it right hand side. (so it's not a cross draw)
Thanks guys!

Can't help on the holster issue, but I give you props for trying to convince her to carry differently, there's just not enough time to get the gun out of her purse and holster in time if anything were to happen.

Remora holsters actually work quite well for AIWB carry, but (depending on body type) may need to be "canted" forward a bit to prevent discomfort and/or movement when sitting down. Has she tried canting or moving it back (towards 3 o'clock) a bit?

I hear ya. One day, someone is gonna want her purse or snatch it, and the gun is gonna do with it. LOL

I hear ya. she doesn't want the canting. she calls it 'tilting' and prefers it straight up and down. right at her 1 o'clock. She's slim enough that she can get away with that. my gut usually gets in the way. lol

Carrying any gun at 1:00 without a forward cant might be possible if a garment waistband is worn high enough, but low cut pants don't lend themselves to vertical carry in that position very well. If she really wants vertical, she might be better off trying 2:00 - 2:30.

Not as comfortable as a remora or a N82, but might be just the ticket.

she would never do the belly belt of smart carry.
THere is nothing like a crossbreed style leather/kydex holster meant for apendix carry? if the holster is canted to begin with, she might be ok with it.

Inexpensive and should work for her. With the 2 For she can get an IWB and a tuckable.

I carry a G23 AIWB in a Dale Fricke Archangel and have found the holster quite comfortable. I also own a Garrett Industries Slim AIWB fro a Sig that works well. Both companies will do custom work for clients.

the thing I like about a BB is they can be shifted to adjust them. if you what a 2:00 carry you adjust it if 3:00 you just slide it but the best thing is if she wants to wear a skirt no probs if she wants dress pants no probs.... no clips hanging on her cloths

TT gunleather has an appendix holster, black, RH, for the SIG 238, ready to ship. 110 bucks, but Tim builds pretty good stuff, and you won't have to wait.
