I found this one on GB and thought that it might work good as a OWB option. It is a pancake style from El Paso Saddlery. It really feels nice and rides up high and tight to the body. Draw is smooth and easy. It has a screw for adjustable tension. With a loose shirt you could get by with this for a concealled carry option as well. Overall I like it a lot and would buy another. What do you think?
Looks good! I'm currently looking for an IWB for my P228 and had settled on a Minotaur from Comp-Tac but they don't seem to make one for 228s with rails. :icon_neutral:
Professional opinion: they did everything right. Carry angle, stitch location, muzzle coverage, grip and button clearance, boning, finishing, secondary retention. Well done El Paso.
A more sophisticated design would have more features, but would not necessarily be a better rig. But then it's easy to get it all right when making a strapless design! Thumbreaks are difficult to do well; but thanks to d.a autos, are no longer a necessity.
