Good belt holster for these two revolvers?

I'am looking for a good belt holster for a colt cobra with the shrouded barrel and a ruger sp101 both 2" barreled guns any suggestions? Also is it true these guns will interchange in some leather holsters due to them having similar contours?

Well yes and no...while they are the same, roughly, frame size. The little Colt is a 6 shot and the SP is a 5 shot. The cylinders may be enough of a size difference that they may not work in the same holster.
    Shoot well.

Bell Charter Oak Holsters makes some nifty revolver rigs.

The Colt Cobra and SP101 are similar overall but not the same. An inexpensive soft suede holster may work for both. A good leather holster will be wet molded to fit a specific revolver make/model properly. Try it before you buy. Hope this helps.

    Stiff belt scabbard

In an OWB holster for a short barrel revolver, the revolver is often positioned fairly high relative to the belt so that the barrel doesn't protrude very far below the belt. This aids concealment and allows a fairly short cover garment, which is good. But since so much of the gun's weight is above the belt and the barrel is short, the gun and holster can tend to tip outwards away from the body, causing printing on the cover garment and a "loose, floppy" feel, which is not good.

One way to combat this is to use a good thick belt and a very stiff holster material that will not sag outward, such as kydex or very stiff horsehide. A good horsehide solution is the Kramer belt scabbard, which covers the revolver very completely, even the hammer, to prevent snagging and support the gun well:

Another solution is a holster that intentionally moves the muzzle of the gun outward from the body by 1/2 inch or so, thereby swinging the grip of the gun into the body above the belt (a lever effect). One revolver holster I have that does this very well is the Price Western Leather (PWL) model 120TS, which is made in England and distributed in the US from Atlanta:

Another good choice is the Sipple Solution by Walt Sipple. Go to ebay. Click on the 'ebay stores" icon. Type in Leather Creek Holsters. This is a nice modified Yaqui Slide design. One problem would be that it does not have a reinforced mouth so re-holstering may require two hands.
