So far so good, have one if their IWB holsters and am happy with it so far.
Sent via Tapatalk, and still using real words.
I have a GI Silent Thunder AIWB for my Sig P229, well thought out and comfy.
I just ordered my second Garrett Silent thunder holster. For OWB I would go with their Silent thunder 2.0. I just ordered their solo for my SP101 and awaiting delivery.
I have a slim on the way for a j Frame. Can't wait to see it as it will be my first belt (IWB or OWB) kydex holster.
I have a Silent Thunder STX Champion for my G36 and really love it. It is well crafted, sturdy, works well and the customer service is superb. I ordered one set of belt clips and it turned out that my CB belt with the velcro lining was too thick. So a little corespondance with Sheryl and the problem was solved. They are VERY nice holsters and have the best features of leather and of Kydex.

Love the feel of my Silent Thunder Fusion, but, it's pretty tight on my Glock. Anyone have any success opening up the hold on their Thunder? I use a hairdryer on my CBST to get a tighter/looser fit, but the Fusion has leather in the Kydex and don't want to damage that.
Thanks!
Quoting myself. Yeah, I'm doing it. Anyway, disregard this last post. I got an email back from Sheryl at Garrett and she said to go ahead and try using a hairdryer. In fact, she went so far as to say that if I somehow overdo it, aka screw it up, I can send it in and they'll reform it for me. Now that's customer service!!
Email she sent me: "We actually heat up both Kydex and leather during the molding process, so if you can identify some of the tight spots and gently heat them out with your hairdryer, great! We would also be happy to do this for you should you like to return the holster to us. Now, if you heat up something too much, let us know and we will have you send it back for remolding.

I just ordered a silent thunder IWB for my M&P Shield. I have an older Silent Thunder for my G30 that I got from Tucker Gun Leather when they used to produce them.
Hoping the Garrett version is as good as the Tucker turned out to be.
Anyone have problems with the leather pulling apart from the kydex around the edges?
If this happens will the replace it?
I've had Silent Thunder OWB holsters for my carry guns for years. I love them. No peeling leather.
I have an STX for a 4" 1911. The quality is excellent, holds the gun well, smooth draw and it has to be one of the toughest holsters out there. However, I could never get used to wearing it. If I were on my feet all day it would be fine but to sit, bend, drive...all the normal daily activities "I" find it too inflexible. They were great to deal with the one phone call I made so please understand the holster just doesn't work for "me".
Just got my silent thunder iwb for my 9mm shield- they had one on clearance so I got it within a week.
I'm very impressed with the comfort and quality. Love the adjustable cant. Absolutely awedsome!!!
