I am currently carrying my G26 in a sidearmor kydex IWB holster and want to get another IWB holster so I always have two. I want to try something out in leather this time.
I want something that is designed like a milt sparks watch six. Thin and with the two belt loops next to the gun.
I am thinking about buying the blackbird IWB holster from Ron Graham but I have not read to much about his holsters.
I have one of his 4X Belt slides, bought it several years ago then sold the gun I bought it for, so I never carried it much. The leather was not as thick nor was it boned as well as the higher priced makers, but he was half the price and a couple of weeks of wait. I'm surprised I don't hear more about him, really, I would call him a good buy for the money but based only on a single experience.
I have two Blackbird holsters, both with sweatshields; one for my Kahr P45 and the other for my Steyr M-series. They are very well made holsters. They are reasonably thin and conceal well.
The one "negative" and it's a subjective one, is that they ride higher than my comparable IWB holsters, namely my HBE Leatherworks COM III and Brommeland Max Con V IWB holsters. The P45 holster is particularly "higher-riding." I prefer my holsters to ride lower; still given the price and quality, they are excellent pieces of leatherwork and recommend them.
I went through Ross @ Pale Horse Holsters who was in direct communication with Mr. Graham. Ross is a good guy to deal with.
Here are some photos of my Steyr M40 and Blackbird IWB....
