Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse or Rapture....whichever comes first.
Thats pretty cool. I like that they are confident enough in their product to encourage DIYers.
I have been interested in working with kydex as of recent and this may very well be a good start. Thanks!

My boss bought one of the Old Faithful kits that had the kydex already molded. The quality of the materials (especially the leather) and the molding were excellent.
I think it came out better than the other major hybrid makes that I have handled.
Here is a home made holster for you... you just know this guy has a mullet.

Careful, holster making can be addictive!
When I first bought my Sig 250 Subcompact there were NO holsters commercially made for it. So, I experimented and made my own. Needless to say, I have subsequently made holsters for all my handguns and sold off all the commercial ones I had. I have made mostly leather, and more recently I've made a few hybrids.
The kydex/leather (hybrids) holsters are particularly good for the beginner. And, the Old Faithful kits are a good place to start. Their quality is excellent, and you can choose from three levels of finish.
